JP Morgan Chase Short Sale

After 5 weeks of having our 1st offer (Total of 4 offers on this one) we got a favorable response from them. Today I was asked to revise the HUD on how the second(Chase) was going to be paid off.

As slow as the banks have become on approving short sales, if we can hang on for 2-4 months to get paid it is worth it :)

Thank you to all the Agents who offered on this property, I know it can be frusterating at times, but again, at the end of the day, we do get a pretty handsom paycheck.

Anyone looking for a good contact at Chase Home Finance please let me know. This was a good experience with Chase and I will look forward to working with them once again very soon.

Thanks!

I have been getting a ton of response to this post recently. I posted it nearly a year ago - The good news is that in my experiences lately that most lenders are becoming more "user friendly." I am excited that they are getting quicker in the approval process.

Thank you to everyone who has called or emailed - it has been fun to chat with people all across this Country!

how long should a buyer wait for acceptance by Chase of short sale?

Chase is generally unresponsive at this point. After two months of broken promises and stonewalling we've decided to throw in the towel and push the home into foreclosure.

I can't get the fax number to accept my short sale package.  I have tried hundreds of times at all times of the day or night.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just wanted to tell you that we have been trying to buy our first home and Chase is the sellers bank. They are HORRIBLE. We started this back in March. March 19th is the day we put our offer in and we are STILL waiting. I will NEVER EVER bank with them or use them for anything. They have left a bad taste in my mouth and made my first home experience a bad one. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. The worst part is that I can't even get excited about it. We are still waiting on the approval letter and our rate lock and application ends on the 29th of July. I need that letter by Tomorrow, I don't think it'll happen so I will probably end up walking away.
